What is Nichr?

Nichr is a daily issue of business opportunities for solo builders, vibe-coders and indie hackers. Each one comes with a build brief and the evidence behind it, so you can decide in minutes whether it is worth a weekend.

How signals are picked

  1. Every day we collect posts and launches from Hacker News, Reddit, Product Hunt, GitHub and 35+ tech, startup, AI and regulatory feeds.
  2. An AI analysis step reads each candidate, discards noise and writes a build brief: what to build, who wants it, which stack, how hard it is for one person with AI, where the first users are, and who already competes.
  3. Candidates are ranked against each other for the day. Only the strongest make the issue — the percentile on each signal tells you where it landed.

Measured vs estimated

Each signal is scored on six axes from 1 to 10, where higher is always better for a solo builder.

  • Measured
  • Estimated

Measured axes (solid) are computed from counters we can see at the source: discussion points, GitHub stars, the number of named competitors.

Estimated axes (dashed) are the model's judgement. They are useful hints, not facts — check them against the evidence in the brief.

There is deliberately no overall score. A wide-open niche with little demand and a crowded market with strong demand are different bets; the trade-off is yours.

What Nichr is not

It is not financial advice and not a guarantee of revenue. It is a well-sourced starting point that saves you hours of scrolling.
